Attentia: Streamlining HR Solutions with Intuitive Design

Attentia is a leading HR solutions provider, focused on creating tools that enhance employee wellbeing and streamline workplace management. My collaboration with Attentia centered on designing user-centric interfaces for their platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for HR professionals and employees alike.

Project Overview

Attentia required a hands on User Interface designer to help build out various sections in the Attentia branding & style of their HR Software suite. My role was to deliver a modern, intuitive, and functional UI that aligned with their mission of empowering HR teams & customers.

I worked closely with Attentia’s product and development teams to deliver

  • User Interface Design: A fresh, clean look and feel for their HR applications, tailored to the needs of HR professionals.
  • Improved Usability: Simplified navigation, consistent layouts, and enhanced accessibility to ensure ease of use.
  • Prototyping: Creation of high fidelity prototypes to help decide on application features with key stakeholders & customers.
  • Mobile Optimization: Ensured responsive designs for seamless experiences across devices.

Key Features and Solutions

  1. Workflow Simplification
    • Redesigned workflows for common HR tasks like leave requests, payroll management, and employee evaluations.
    • Reduced the number of steps required to complete tasks, improving efficiency.
  1. Dashboard Redesign
    • Delivered a clear, at-a-glance view of key HR metrics.
    • Included customizable widgets for personalized user experiences.
  1. Employee Self-Service Portal in Salesforce
    • Designed an intuitive portal for employees to access payslips, request leaves, and update personal details.
    • Focused on accessibility and ease of navigation.
  1. Rebranding initiative
    • For a couple of weeks I also worked together with marketing of a complete redesign of all components.
    • This was later stopped due to the high cost of overhauling each application.

Process and Collaboration

  • Participated in user research and gathered feedback from HR professionals and employees to identify pain points.
  • Delivered wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs iteratively, incorporating feedback throughout the process.
  • Worked alongside developers to ensure smooth implementation of the designs.
