From developer to designer
My career began as a full-stack developer, where I delved into both the front-end and back-end complexities of building robust digital solutions. This foundation gave me a technical fluency that still informs my work today. I transitioned into front-end development, where I sharpened my skills in crafting user interfaces that weren’t just functional but also intuitive and engaging.
My curiosity about user behavior and the "why" behind design decisions led me to roles in analysis and, eventually, UI design. Here, I began translating user needs and business goals into visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces. This naturally evolved into product design, where I could own the process end-to-end: from identifying problems and opportunities to delivering solutions that balance user experience, business strategy, and technical feasibility.
Why This Journey Makes Me Unique
The progression from developer to designer gives me a unique advantage in the field:Practical Focus
I bring a developer’s iterative mindset to design, creating solutions that are tested, refined, and ready for real-world use.Empathy for Developers
Fluent in both design and development, I bridge gaps, foster collaboration, and help deliver seamless, efficient products.Deep Technical Knowledge
I understand the "how" behind the design. I know what’s possible, what’s challenging, and what’s impossible in a given technical landscape. This means I create designs that are not only ambitious but also realistic—saving time, effort, and headaches during implementation.
